Your data stays in your iCloud

Espresso syncs your keep-awake status between your own devices using Apple iCloud (a CloudKit private database). This data — the on/off state, the auto-off timer end, battery level, thermal state and your device's name — is stored in your iCloud account and is not accessible to the developer.

The push relay stores nothing

To start and update the Live Activity on your iPhone, a minimal payload (the same status fields) and an Apple push token are relayed through a stateless forwarding service to the Apple Push Notification service. The relay holds no data, writes no databases, and keeps no logs of your content — it forwards, and forgets.

No analytics, no ads, no trackers

The apps contain no analytics SDKs, no advertising and no tracking of any kind. Purchases (Espresso Pro) are processed entirely by Apple; we never see your payment details.
